Hailing from Montreal, formed in 2003, the Underground Divas are a Psych-Folk Country Roots Canadiana group. The Underground Divas have recorded 3 records since their formation. Rick Murrin is the singer/songwriter/producer and visionary behind the group. The band is an ever changing cast of musicians, keeping the bands sound interesting and fresh with every new record. Rick Murrin performs solo shows as well, always promoting the Underground Divas. In 2015, Murrin challenged himself to write/record and upload a song a week for a year, playing all instruments. The project resulted in 52 songs, many of which will make up 2 new records in 2023-24. 12 of these recordings make up the latest record "Ennui and The Golden Age of Youth" released October 2018.
